1.1. II DESCRIPTIVE DEFINITION OF COOKIES
2.1 A cookie is a small text file that the web browser (for example, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) stores on the terminal equipment (computer or mobile device) of the user, when the user visits the website http://www.monify.lv/lv, to identify the browser and/or the settings. Thus it helps to analyse the use of the site, to understand the activities of the visitors, and to enable the improvement and creation of a user-friendly website.
2.2. The user can disable or restrict the use of cookies, but without the cookies it will not be possible to fully use all the features of the site. Depending on the functions to be performed and the purpose of use, the Company uses mandatory and/or functional and/or analytical cookies.

III. THE COOKIES USED
3.1. Mandatory cookies (PHPSESSID) are required to identify each user on the server side of the session, and to allow the user to freely visit and browse the website, as well as to use the features it offers, including the availability to acquire information about the services. These cookies identify the user device, but do not disclose user identity, as well as do not collect or summarize information. The website will not be able to function properly without these cookies, for example, to provide the user with the necessary information. These cookies are stored on the terminal equipment of the user till the moment when the web browser is closed.
3.2. Functional cookies provide the ability to remember the user-selected settings and choices made, so that the user can use the website. These cookies are permanently stored on the terminal equipment of the user.
3.3. Analytical cookies (ga) collect information about how the user uses the website and the statistics of the website traffic (Google analytics). This information is used for analysis to find out what interests the website's users and how the functionality of the website can be improved, making it more convenient to use. IV. THE PURPOSE OF USING COOKIES
4.1. The Company uses cookies to improve the website and its user experience, i.e. to ensure the functionality of the website and/or to adapt the functionality of the website to the user’s patterns of use – including language and/or to obtain statistics on the flow of website visitors – the number of visitors and the time spent on the site.
